Welcome
Dear Friends,
I created this website to host my graduate work through University of Florida's Master of Arts in Art Education online program (January 2013-December 2014). You may also access my professional work through Ho Yang Fine Art.
I work in creative and geeky ways. A blend of art and science contributes to how I think, see, and make sense of art and life. I officially began my art career January 2012 when I registered my business, Ho Yang Fine Art (HYFA). I am a free-lance artist who enjoys drawing, painting, and creating works in mixed media. I teach semi-private art lessons for learners in kindergarten through grade 12. I also volunteer/teach at our local arts center. My students and their bright ideas feed my hunger to stay creative and inquisitive about art and life. Prior to HYFA, I remember having 12 jobs before practicing medicine. After eight years as a physician, I gave up my medical career to spend more time with my family. At the end of each day, sharing all of it with Ken Yang makes it sweeter.
Art has grounded my sense of self in pursuit of what brings joy. I live by leaving regrets behind. I love by making worthy connections. I work hard to play hard. I am and have been an artist at the core of my being. I am an artist who creates, educates, and advocates...because art matters.
Stay true to yourself. Be original.
Artfully yours,
Grace W. Ho
